Come play pickleball at Texas Tech Recreation Center in Lubbock, TX! There are 6 outdoor concrete courts. These are dedicated courts with permanent lines and nets. Players have access to water. The courts cannot be reserved. Texas Tech University Outdoor Pickleball Courts. Parking is located in the Commuter West lot or the Z5 lot on weekends. Fair warning: the water fountains next to the courts are sometimes not operational. Restrooms and other water fountains are located inside the UREC, but the building may be locked outside of regular hours.
Valid Student ID or visitors fee may be required, but often you can play there without them.
Schedule: During weekdays, courts may be reserved by the Pickleball class offered by TTU, which may result in them asking you to vacate the court. Courts can be reserved for other university events too, so check TTU UREC schedule or call ahead before heading out.Surface & Features
